For the past 3 days, my account is stuck in creation. It is becoming frustrating to see this amount of delay. Please help with this as soon as possible, as this should not be a case irrespective of beta app or server issues, a fintech company should do better at least on time when compared to banks.
I started with the process of applying for niyo global almost 3 weeks back, a few days back got a callback and due to an already delayed response, I had to apply for niyo sbm on the app as directed on call. With all the server issues in kyc process, there was a further delay and after all that, now my account creation is in process for the past 3 days.
I have my flight on 15th August 2021 and if possible I would like to use niyo card but looking at the delay IT IS NOT.
Please resolve if possible or tell me if it is not.

I had initially registered for Niyo Global by DCB in early July, but never got a response from them. And now Niyo Global by SBM option is the only option being provided. Has Niyo team stopped providing the DCB option? If yes, could I ask why? I just wanted to understand the reason so that I get integrated in the Niyo community in a better way.

As per the RBI rules, there is a limit of 7 Lac INR per year that can be remitted outside India without 5% TCS correct? Beyond which, 5% TCS will be applied. How is this handled by the Niyo app? When I load some money in SBM Bank Account in INR, which is India based account, and swipe the card for some USD xyz in USA, are those xyz dollars counted as outward remittance?

Does the Beta app mean there can be some account safety related issues ?

I have used the Beta version app in a hope to register and create niyo account so that I can get forex card for my studies in UK. One of my friend and I went through the process of creating account in parallel at the same time. His account was created immediately and he has got his card in a week now. But in my case, I stuck on a page saying āAccount creation pendingā. I informed about this bug to the community. This is now fifth or sixth time I am telling my issue. The issue is still persistent. I still open the app and get this page āAccount creation pendingā. This has lowered my trust on the app & the ease of handling, reloading or spending money using niyo.
If the issue doesnāt resolve in one or two days, I will be forced to go to other options now because next week I have to probably pay abroad accommodation fee and visa fee. And in the early sept, the University fee too. I cannot afford more delay as the issuance of card from other source would also take time (in case niyo doesnāt resolve the issue)
So can I get a fully fledged working account and a forex card sbm before I will be pushed into trouble? I just need a genuine answer so that I can plan my acts accordingly
I got my card and I am able to do online transactions but when I tried domestic POS transactions at two places, it was declined. I reset my pin before I tried the second transaction. Please resolve this issue.

Indian banks operating in India do not have a routing number. You can use SWIFT code to receive international transfers.
So⦠after so many requests. Perhaps tomorrow i.e., 7th Aug 2021 would my last day āto waitā. After tomorrow, Iāll request you to DO NOT process my issue. Just leave that. Iāll finally go for another option. Speechless experience
I registered and created an niyo account with sbm niyo and i paid 20000gbp to my university previously it was a very smooth transaction. But today i was trying to pay the rest (4000gbp) but ended declined. It says auth failed card issuer declined. I donāt know why it happened i have enough balance to do the payment and entered the correct details of the card.

(1/3) No! Niyo Global by DCB is undergoing some process enhancements and we will be live soon!
(2/3) In a given financial year, when your international transactions exceed ā¹7 lakhs, a fee of 5% is charged for the incremental amount exceeding ā¹7 lakhs. For multiple international transactions made in a day, TCS is deducted only once a day at the end of day for the cumulative international transactions.
(3/3) In Beta version your account is completely safe, rest assured
