I am trying to add my Niyo DCB debit card to gpay so that i can use it in my Swiss travel app.

I am unable to add this card directly on the Sbb app or gpay.

Can this card be enabled for contactless payment on gpay?

I don’t face any issues with other debit card(say icici) but that defeats the purpose of getting a forex card from niyo.

We tried reaching you over call but unfortunately couldn’t connect. We’d like to let you know that you can easily create a UPI ID for your Niyo DCB account using any third-party UPI application.

:backhand_index_pointing_right: To create a UPI ID:
:one: Open a third-party UPI app (e.g., Google Pay, PhonePe).
:two: Select “Add Bank Account.”
:three: Choose DCB Bank Ltd. as your bank.
:four: Follow the prompts (you may be asked to enter your card details) to successfully create your UPI ID. :white_check_mark:

Additionally, you can also use your card directly for the Tap & Pay feature, making payments even more convenient.

If it’s with a third-party app, kindly share a screen recording of the error at :e_mail: global.escalation@goniyo.com
and help us with the ticket ID so that we can assist you further.

Please note that new UPI registrations on the Niyo app are currently on pause :pause_button:. However, you can instantly set up UPI using any third-party UPI app :white_check_mark:. If you face any further issues, just let us know — we’ll ensure you’re supported right away :blue_heart:.

This is long due from my end. I was able to use the Niyo debit card on the SBB (Swiss transport hub) sir, as long as II CHECKED the Save The Card option. Yes, so it meant that I had to key in the card details everytime. But on Android, I was able to store my card details and just needed to enter my CVV and then OTP to authorise.

Nice feature from Niyo DCB to deliver the OTP to registered email

only incoming transfers and no outgoing transfers. tricky idea from niyo to make users to deposit money into niyo. looks like a purley tech crime and sadly users are
the victims. i don’t know why google play store is entertaining these kind of scam apps
