Upi not available at Google pay or phone pe

Hey @Umesh5298! Regret the inconvenience. It looks like there are some connectivity issues.

You can create your UPI ID for Niyo Global by SBM account in just a few simple steps:

What you’ll need:

  1. A third-party UPI app eg Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.
  2. The last 6 digits, and the expiration date of your card

Instructions:

  1. Open your 3rd party UPI app such as PhonePe, GPay, etc.
  2. Navigate to ‘Add Bank Account’ (This flow may differ from app to app)
  3. Select SBM Bank India Limited as your bank account
  4. Follow the steps given by the app
  5. Voila! Your UPI ID is all set up to use for your Niyo Global SBM account

If you have followed these steps and facing any challenges, we’d request you to connect with our in-app Live Chat support through the app going to Menu > Support.

Please check this process with your phone pe or Google pe. Hope it will work for you. I am aware about this process.

hey @Deepak i am also facing same issue no UPI apps is finding bank account with SBM bank, kindly look into this issue. I tried phonepe, google pay, paytm, whatsapp pay, amazon pay upi, but simply it shows that no account found with the same number. seems like our mobile number is not registered in SBM data base that’s why it is not finding out account with the same mobile number.

Hi I created my account a day ago and am unable to link my account with UPI. It shows that no account is linked with the number. I contacted customer care they asked me to contact SBM bank. After contacting the bank they asked me to contact niyo. I am in a huge mess. I opened net banking and it shows the number to be same as my UPI number.

I am also facing the same problem. I have created a debit card pin, but yet to receive the physical card. Probably, that could be the reason!

This is not working

Is niyo gonna do something about this?

Please file complaint with RBI ombudsman. Bank is resolving the issue, once we have filed the complaint. This is my experience with SBM bank.

The issue has been resolved. You should be able to link your Niyo SBM account details to any third part UPI apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm. For any further help, reach out to our in-app Live Chat Support.

This problem of settng up UPI pin was there for me also. The method suggested of third party app also did not work.
Finally i downloaded sbm Bank app, registered and logged in. From there i could set up my UPI pin.
Now the third party app also worked after delinking and linking again.
Hope it’ll work for others too.
