Regarding charging more money

Hello, I used the Niyo global DCB card in 2 stores in the US. Both the time it charged me more than 100 Rs per dollar. They have also not given any reason why they deducted this much money for. I tried calling their customer care but was unable to make contact with them. Can someone help me with this issue?

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :raised_hands:

That’s not typically how card transactions work, but no worries—we’ll look into this for you. Could you please share a screenshot of the transactions you’re disputing via DM, along with your contact number? We’ll get this sorted out for you.

Hi @narendrarane50,

Thank you for providing the transaction details.

I’ve escalated the issue to our team for further investigation. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more information.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

As per the update from DCB Bank, your international transactions have exceeded the TCS limit for the financial year.

This is why you are seeing higher charges, as they are related to the Tax Collected at Source (TCS). For further details or clarification, we recommend contacting DCB Bank directly.

Thank you for your understanding.

But it was through education loan will it still count towards the tcs.

Hey @narendrarane50

For a better understanding of this matter, we kindly request you to contact DCB Bank at 022-6899-7777 / 040-6815-7777 or email them at customercare@dcbbank.com. They will be happy to assist you further.

Thank you!!
