my account got suddenly blocked without giving any reason even i dont initiate this request kindly reactivate my account

I havent received a prior email, and that’s the issue. And I believe it is a critical part that had to be played not only by the Bank, but also by Niyo here.

I need this escalated to the right department, as this is a very unexpected and non-negotiable instance, which has massively hampered my financials.

I will register a complain and Sue both Niyo and Equitas as I ABSOLUTELY haven’t received a single email regarding this closure, which is highly unprofessional in banking sector.

Without any prior notice,what am I supposed to do?

Since your account is opened in partnership with Equitas Small Finance Bank, the account closure process, along with any remaining balance refund, is entirely managed by Equitas Bank.

Important Information Regarding Refund of Balance:

If your account had any balance remaining at the time of closure, Equitas Bank will issue a Demand Draft (DD) to your registered communication address. Please note that:

  • The DD may take up to 15 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and bank holidays) to be delivered to your registered address.
  • You will not receive a separate message or notification from us when the DD is dispatched. However, you can expect the DD to arrive within the specified time frame at your registered communication address.

Suddenly today 19.07.2024 at 7:56 Pm I receive a mail that my account status is closed. Why it closed I don’t know ? I have around 8,888 money in my account. Please reactivate my account as soon as possible as all my money is in this account. Please do the needful.
