International Refund Related!

This is in reference to my transactions of 300 SGD on 29 July 2022 that was supposed to be refunded. As per the other bank, they have done the refund from their side but i have not received it in my bank account. They asked me to contact my bank. 060302/221006505417/00000000/ POSISS/POPULAR RENT A . This is the transaction id. It’s been more than 15 days and still i haven’t got any refund and didn’t hear anything from your service team.

We’re yet to receive the settlement. We request you to get a settlement confirmation from the merchant, so we can take this up with the bank and duly address your concern. As per the standard international refund timeline in 15 working days for auto refund. Worry not, once you share the confirmation, we’ll pitch in for you.

I contacted the merchant and as per them, the amount was put on hold as security and was released the next day i.e. on 30 July by their bank. I asked them to provide me some confirmation and they said that it is not possible for them because the amount was not credited to the merchant it was just placed on hold. I am attaching the screenshot that my merchant provided me after contacting their bank.

I am facing the same issue with refunds, the merchant says the refund has been initiated and settled but I do not see the information on my NIYO card while travelling to the USA. @NishantY have you got the refund yet?

Any updates? Even I’m waiting for refund. They said it will take T+31 days for auto reversal of payments. Its already past 31 days

31 days?? It’s too much. Should have used credit card. @Jumain_Qureshi please see to it that it does not take this much time.

@rpriyanshu9 , fortunately I received refund yesterday late night (T+31 days), - (Same day when I posted here). That’s what they had communicated before. But still this is far too time for instant reversal of money.
Yes according to their FAQ page, they have mentioned that auto reversal of money takes 31 days from transaction date.

I have cancelled the Niyo global card and received the message 15 days back that the amount will be credited , but havent received till date.

Hello I’m a international student and I was on a Dubai trip with family and there I did my vat refund the amount expected is 49 aed and other is 168 aed from planet tax free initiated on 17 September 2024 it’s been over a month today I haven’t received my refund yet I have done multiple emails and calls but nothing worked I sharing the arn number could you please help me out 74349534260014827736561

I was on a family trip to Dubai and while coming back to India, I did a VAT refund on Dubai International airport from the company planet tax-free. The transaction was initiated on 17th of September and was completed on 19th of September. I have been messaging or emailing you and your team from the DCB bank since 21st or 22nd of September and I haven’t received any refund in my account. I have been checking it all time. I never received it. Secondly, I am sharing all the screenshots of the bills and transaction that was sent to me from the tax-free company which they claim that they have already initiated the refund, and this isn’t completed by the DCB bank side. How long should I wait for this thing? Are you guys checking my patience or what? take more than a month? It’s been 31+ days and I haven’t received anything from your side. Are you guys even working on it or not? There have been two amounts of the refund. One of the 49AED and second is 168AED I am literally pissed by the service that you’re giving me as a customer. I would like to have a I am literally pissed by the service that you’re giving me as an customer. I would like to have a detailed email from your side to make me understand. When will I receive my refund and how long is it gonna take because I have waited a month for this and I have seen a lot of post on online, but it was showing that DCB bank has very much problem with international refund process.
