Also please let me know the charges if I withdraw cash from ATM at Thailand, Malaysia & Singapore.

Is there any customer care no. to contact Niyo team?

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :raised_hands:

To avail the forex cash facility, doorstep delivery is currently available only in select cities—Bangalore, Mumbai, and Pune. Your delivery address must be within these locations. Alternatively, you may visit a Kanji Forex branch in one of these cities for direct assistance.

Regarding ATM withdrawal charges abroad:

  • Niyo SBM Debit Card: ₹423 + GST per transaction
  • Niyo SBM Credit Card: ₹423 + GST or 2.5% of the withdrawn amount + GST (whichever is higher)
  • Niyo DCB Debit Card: ₹425 + GST per transaction

Please note that acquiring bank charges may also apply, depending on the ATM you use.

For any assistance, please reach out to us via in-app chat support or email us at global@goniyo.com, as we currently do not have an incoming call support facility.

Hi @Surya_Padala,

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :raised_hands:

We are sorry to hear about your KYC delay. This shouldn’t have happened. Please allow us a moment to check this for you and we will assist you.

I have Aadhaar Card & PAN Card. I live in India and hold an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) Card. Am I eligible for the Niyo SBM Card?

Hi @Apoorv_Mintri,

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :hugs:

Thank you for your interest! Could you please confirm if you hold an Indian passport? That’ll help us guide you better on your eligibility for the Niyo SBM Card. Looking forward to your response!

Hi @Nith_In, no I don’t hold an Indian Passport but I hold an OCI card. I do have my PAN & Aadhaar Card, and been living in India for the past 8 years.

Hi @Apoorv_Mintri,

We’re really sorry, but we won’t be able to onboard you without an Indian passport. Please note, having an Aadhaar, PAN, and Indian passport is mandatory to create an account with our partner banks via the app. We appreciate your understanding.

Hi @Surya_Padala,

We’ve escalated your KYC concern to the relevant team and are checking with DCB Bank for further updates. We kindly request you to wait until the end of today. Rest assured, we’re on it and will update you shortly.

Can we transfer funds to US Equity Broker i.e. Interactive Broker ?
I tried to do , did Video KYC , the got a call that we cannot do and it is only student fee paid internationally.

Why is that restriction ? Although now Video KYC shows completed.

Please suggest.

Hi @Chitrang,

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :hugs:

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We understand your need to transfer funds to platforms like Interactive Brokers. However, currently, the Send Money Abroad feature is enabled only for students making international education-related payments.

We know this may be limiting, and we’re actively working on expanding the scope in the future. We’ll make sure to keep the community updated as soon as there’s any progress. Appreciate your understanding and patience in the meantime!

Thanks for tej update.
But I see KYC is done , so even if I initiate transfer , I will get rejected by SBM?

Hi Chitrang @NIYOCOMM20250718704W,

Please allow us a moment to check this for you.

Hi @NIYOCOMM20250718704W,

We’d like to clarify that Niyo SBM accounts can be used for international ECOM, POS, and ATM transactions. However, the “Send Money Abroad” feature is currently enabled only for educational purposes by Niyo, especially for students. As per SBM Bank, the transfer limit is ₹1 lakh, and the purpose is restricted to ‘Education’ by Niyo. At this point, remittances for other purposes aren’t supported through this feature. We appreciate your understanding.

Thanks Surya I understand,

But why Niyo marketing keep sending email to do international fund transfer without any mention that it is for education purpose. See attached snapshot.

Any timeline when are your rolling out general international outward r

emittance ?

Hi Chitrang, @NIYOCOMM20250718704W

We are sorry to see this. Please allow us a moment to assist you in this matter.
