Re-KYC for Niyo SBM: Get help in this thread!

Ok, sure. Please do let me know about any updates.

Sure, @Vinayak_Kumar_Naik ! We appreciate your patience till then.

Still waiting for a response. This is very offputting to wait so long since this is the first time applying for a niyo card.

Hi @Vinayak_Kumar_Naik, thank you for your time on the call. As we discussed, due to specific banking regulations, we’re unable to proceed with the onboarding for the SBM account. We understand this might be disappointing, but don’t worry—you can still complete the onboarding with DCB Bank, which offers similar features and benefits.

If you have any questions or need help with the process, feel free to reach out here, via the in-app chat, or drop us an email at global.escalation@goniyo.com. We’re always here to help!

Thanks for your time over the call @Ishan_saha,

We are happy to hear that you were able to complete your KYC and you were able to transact internationally. It would be great if you could confirm us the same here.

Yes its working perfectly now.

Really happy to hear that @Ishan_saha. Appreciate your confirmation here. :light_blue_heart:

Hi iam a customer of niyox equitas bank account previously and it’s good to see here to migrate in niyo global all the services like international transactions travel booking hotel bookings e-sim’s everything is fine and good its showing that the niyo global services are available across 180+ countries it’s good to hear but the problem iam a traveller I used to travel some countries for vacations so on my middle of vacation i stucked in Oman country right now so the equitas account has suddenly migrated to niyo global iam it Is not accessible to do any transaction through NetBanking except debit card thank God atleast it’s a good sign to gave access to use debit card. So the issue is I am trying to do video call for my kyc but it’s not gonna happening I have been trying since week so ur providing services across 180+ countries but what the use of your not such video call access to travellers like me we don’t our destination where it would be so for kyc we should need to India compulsory we dont have any options to do here in some others.. please try to do clear this issue because many of travellers will gonna upset for the kyc and it’s not a good option to do only in India.

Hi @NIYOCOMM202506124Z7A,

Thank you for your valuable time on the call. As discussed, since you’re currently outside India, you won’t be able to complete the onboarding process for SBM at the moment. Once you’re back in India, you can continue with the onboarding process for SBM or DCB Bank. We’ll be here to assist you whenever you’re ready.

If you have any questions or need help with the process, feel free to reach out. We’re always here to help!

Thanks for assisting…

I have a Niyo Global SBM Dedit card. I’ve completed the video kyc as it was due and the same was confirmed by the bank via sms and mail. The international transactions are still locked. I spoke to the bank- they said it was not reflecting in their records and they suggested me to do the kyc again with an android device but it when I try to do it with an android phone, it says that I have already completed. Kindly help as I need the international transaction to be enabled as soon as possible. Attaching screenshots for your reference

Hi @Mayur_Punamiya,

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :raised_hands:

We’d like to inform you that it will take up to 2 days after completing your KYC for your account to be enabled for both domestic and international transactions. We request you to wait for the turnaround time and then try initiating transactions using your card/account.

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to confirm if my rekyc was successful or not? Can you please check and revert back?
Thanks

Hi @Mayur_Punamiya,

We would like to inform you that your Re-KYC is successful on 26-Jun-2025. Please wait for your transactions to be enabled.
