Hi,

I have applied for a Niyo Global card but I’m relocating to US from India for purpose of employment. My residency status would change to NRI. As per guidelines, I shouldn’t have an Indian account but rather have a NRO account.
What should be done in this case?
Should I close my account?

Hey @Archit_Kaushik! Welcome to Niyo Community!

Currently, we do not have an option to open an NRO account or to convert an existing Niyo SBM savings account to an NRO account. If your residency status is about to change to NRI, it is recommended to close your Niyo Global account before you travel abroad.

I have Niyo Equitas account. Can it be converted to NRO. I am shifting abroad in a week.
