We tried reaching you over a call but couldn’t connect. We see you have accounts with both DCB and SBM banks, and please note that the closure process is different for each.

For closing your DCB savings account, you’ll need to visit the nearest DCB branch—you can locate one here: Find the Nearest DCB Bank Branches & ATMs.

As per the update received from the bank, your account has been marked under lien, due to which the closure request couldn’t be processed. The bank has also communicated this status to you.

A lien typically means that a certain portion of your funds is on hold by the bank and cannot be used until the bank releases it. This can happen for various reasons. As this is managed directly by SBM Bank, we kindly suggest reaching out to them through their official support channels for detailed clarification and faster resolution.
