I am currently in Bangalore, but my kyc address is at my native place. Can the kyc be done in Bangalore with my temporary address?

Hey Arun! Welcome to the Niyo Community! Please note that the Biometrics for your account can only be completed at the communication address provided by you. In case, that is different from Bangalore’s address, you can simply log in to Equitas’s Net Banking page EquitasConsumerApp and get that updated. LK

I updated my correspondence address with Equitas bank successfully. But I cannot see the same in NiyoX app. I can only see the field for ‘Permanent address’. There’s no field for communication address.

Hey Arun! Please rest assured, if the correspondence address has been updated successfully, you can directly schedule the Biometrics verification at the new address. The app would display only the permanent address as you confirmed. LK

I went ahead and booked the kyc visit yesterday and scheduled to today morning.I didn’t get any calls in the the allotted time. But in the evening the e com guy called and he was calling me from my city where my permanent address is.

And I called Equitas Bank to check whether my communication address has been updated properly and they confirmed that my communication address was updated 3 days back.

Can you place the kyc request from your side? As I mentioned before, NiyoX only shows my permanent address, and not my communication address. Kindly fix it for me.

Request to please share detailed SOP for change of address for KYC , since my current location is rented accommodation, How to go about the same.

Please also guide how to confirm change of address as successful since app only shows permanent address.

Hey Akash! You can now change your communication address online by visiting the Equitas bank internet banking portal. All you need to do is log in to Equitas net banking page EquitasConsumerApp and register yourself as a new user.
Please be informed that the new communication address will take 3 days to get updated and can be checked on the portal itself. This service only allows a customer to change the communication address online. To change the permanent address one has to visit the nearest Equitas Small Finance Bank. LK

Thank You for the guidance. Request to please confirm can I request KYC Visit and Completion at my communication address after the change which will be different from permanent address.

Yes, most certainly! The biometric verification can happen only at the communication address updated by you. You can schedule the visit as per your convenience. LK
