i have another doubt let me ask that in mail format Subject: Urgent Clarification on Niyo SBM Secured Credit Card Usage for Sequential Online Purchases
Dear Niyo SBM Customer Support Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to seek urgent clarification regarding the use of my secured credit card (backed by a ₹15,000 fixed deposit) for immediate, sequential online purchases. I plan to make these purchases within the next 2–3 days and want to ensure I fully understand the cash flow and usage mechanics to avoid any issues.
Here’s my understanding of the process:
I have created a ₹15,000 fixed deposit, which acts as my credit limit for the secured credit card.
I intend to purchase the following three courses in rapid succession, repaying each bill immediately after purchase to refresh my credit limit:
Alt Academy (~₹15,000)
Save My Exams (~₹6,000)
Noteful (~₹10,000)
✅ My understanding is that the fixed deposit itself is not spent for these purchases—it is only locked as collateral.
✅ I will need to have the total cost of these three purchases (₹31,000) available in my bank account to repay each bill immediately.
✅ Therefore, the total cash in hand I need at once is ₹15,000 (locked FD) + ₹31,000 (rolling repayments) = ₹46,000.
I would like to confirm the following points to ensure my understanding is correct:
Is my calculation of needing ₹46,000 total in hand (₹15,000 locked FD + ₹31,000 rolling repayments) accurate for this sequential, immediate repayment method?
Does the credit limit indeed refresh instantly after each bill is paid, allowing me to make the next purchase on the same day?
Are there any additional hidden charges (international transaction fees, processing fees, or GST) I need to consider beyond the stated prices of these purchases?
Will the fixed deposit amount remain untouched and not be used for repayments or purchases directly?
Are there any daily transaction limits, number of transactions limits, or other operational caps that might prevent me from completing these three purchases back-to-back in a single day?
Could there be any delay in the credit limit reset after a bill repayment that might affect my ability to make the next purchase in the same day?
Lastly, is there anything else I might be overlooking or misunderstanding about how secured credit cards work in this sequential repayment scenario?
I sincerely appreciate your prompt response, as I plan to complete these transactions within the next 2–3 days.
Thank you for your support in clarifying this matter and helping me ensure a smooth and efficient use of my secured credit card.
Best regards,
Rifaideen J S
