No my card is not working

Hi @christopher_nemala,

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :hugs:

Thank you for reaching out to us.

On checking, we see that your SBM Credit Card has been surrendered due to non-payment of dues within the 60-day period. The current outstanding amount on your account is ₹5,357.95, which includes applicable interest and late payment charges.

To make the repayment process easier, we’ve enabled a payment option directly within the app. We recommend clearing the dues at the earliest to prevent any negative impact on your credit score.

Here’s how you can make the payment:

  1. Log in to the app
  2. Select your SBM Credit Card
  3. Tap on Outstanding
  4. Click Pay Now

If you’re unable to proceed with the payment, please share a screen recording so we can raise this with the concerned team on priority.

You’ll also find all relevant bills listed under the Bill Payment section in the app. If you have any other concerns or need further help, don’t hesitate to write to us—we’re always here for you!

Thank you for getting back to us @christopher_nemala.

We understand that you’d like to update your mobile number. However, we noticed that the number you’ve shared is an international one. As per current guidelines, all Niyo accounts must be linked to an Indian mobile number.

If you have access to an Indian number and would like to update it, here’s how you can proceed:

Bank-Level Update:

To update your number in the bank’s records, please email the following documents to global@goniyo.com from your registered email ID:

  • A self-attested copy of your PAN card
  • A copy of your driving license

Once we receive the documents, we’ll coordinate with the bank team to initiate the update. You’ll receive a confirmation email once the number is successfully updated in their system. After that, we can proceed with updating it within the app.

App-Level Update:

  • For Postpaid users: Please share a copy of your monthly bill showing the new number registered in your name.
  • For Prepaid users: Share a copy of the payment invoice or receipt reflecting the new number.

These documents can also be sent to global@goniyo.com from your registered email ID.

We understand this process might seem a bit lengthy, but it’s in place to ensure your account remains secure. Rest assured, once the verification is complete, we’ll promptly update your mobile number.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. If you have any further questions, we’re always here to help!

Hey. Is SBM Debit card working fine for ATM withdrawal and POS transaction in Bali?
I have done some online transactions and can see international transaction as On but wanted to confirm if I can use the debit card on foreign land.

Hey @Hanish,

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :hugs:

Thank you for your time on the call. As discussed, your SBM Debit Card is active for international transactions, so you should be able to use it for ATM withdrawals and POS transactions without any issues.

In case you face any difficulties while transacting abroad, feel free to reach out — we’ll be happy to assist you promptly. Have a great trip! :globe_showing_asia_australia:

Hi All, Need a quick help. I am planning for a Europe trip next week. Want to know two things:

  1. Has RBI lifted the ban from Niyo SBM debit card?
  2. Will I be able to receive the card physically before 14th June if I apply today?

Thanks in advance !!

Hi @debdut_dey,

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :hugs:

Yes, the RBI has lifted the restriction on international usage for Niyo SBM debit cards, so you can use your card seamlessly wherever Visa services are available worldwide.

Regarding card delivery, once your account is created and the card is ordered, it usually takes about 3 business days for delivery in metro cities and 5 to 7 business days for non-metro cities. Please note that this timeline starts from the next business day after the card is ordered. While we strive for timely delivery, we cannot guarantee the exact date.

If you need any assistance with the application or onboarding process, feel free to get in touch. Wishing you an amazing European trip in advance! :globe_showing_europe_africa::airplane:

I am trying to make a payment in USD on payflowlink.paypal but it is giving me an error.
Both online transaction limit and international transactions permissions are in place. There is sufficient balance in the account as well. I have also logged a ticket with Niyo Global but I need a quick resolution as the payment needs to go through ASAP. Ticket ID - 186211.

Can someone please help me resolve this ASAP?
Thank you in advance!

Hi @dushyantkinha,

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :raised_hands:

Thanks for your time over the call. As discussed, Ticket ID 186211 has been escalated and is currently being worked on by the concerned team along with the bank. We request your patience and understanding while we get this resolved. Rest assured, we’ll connect with you as soon as there’s an update.

hi @SuryaK.inc @Nith_In i have completely done all the procedures of niyo sbm international debit card and got an virtual card today and i will receive my physical card by june 11 problem:i loaded my niyo account with 1000 rupees and when i tried to make an transaction for just 5 dollars(tested to buy an notion template),niyo just declined my transaction i dont know why

hi @SuryaK.inc @Nith_In would i need to apply and definitely need to get niyo global sbm credit card for making my international transactions is niyo global credit card a typical normal credit card or its an secured credit card i mean question 1:does niyo credit card work in debit card manner(load amount first and then make transaction) or does niyo card work in typical credit card manner(make the transaction first and then niyo will allot a bill date pay then bill before due date manner)

Hi @Rifai_Deen,

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :raised_hands:

Sorry to hear your international transaction was declined. Please allow us some time to review your details—we’ll reach out to assist you further and also clarify your queries regarding the Niyo SBM credit card. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hi @Rifai_Deen,

We tried reaching you but couldn’t connect. Currently, we’re unable to trace any declined transactions on your Niyo SBM debit card. Kindly share a screenshot of the declined transaction to help us investigate further.

Additionally, we’d like to inform you that the Niyo SBM credit card is a secured credit card backed by a fixed deposit (FD). Your credit limit is 90% of the FD amount. Interest continues to accrue on the FD, and you can pay card dues to maintain your credit limit. If needed, you may also close the FD to repay your dues, which will reduce your credit limit accordingly.
