Hello @Munagala_Sivaram ! Please be informed that, the name was captured as per NSDL. As per PAN name updated in your account shows as “MUNAGALA SIVA RAM”. As Niyo Global By SBM is a 100% digital account. We do not have the facility to manually update your name on our records.
Hi, Just today my name got changed in my adhaar card as Sivaram Munagala. It will take some time to change my name in my pancard. So, is it possible to change my name now? or even after my name changes in pancard?

Upon reviewing your concern, to update your name on the account; As per our standard procedure set by the bank, we require a driving license for name changes. However, if you do not possess a driving license, we recommend visiting your nearest SBM Bank branch [You can check the SBM Bank branches with the link: Our Branches - SBM Bank India], complete the name update process using other valid documents such as your Aadhaar or PAN card. Once the name is changed as per Bank records, share the reference email/letter received from the bank with us on Ticket ID 2495975 to get further assistance.

I have requested the niyo team to update my mobile number in August after struggling a lot with cKYC they agreed that they will change my mobile number, as I have already updated my mobile number in my aadhar card as well as in my main savings account that is SBI, still after one month there is no resolution from your team every time I dropped the mail they simply copy paste the old mail and reply to me, that this is in progress and as soon as we will get the response from the back end team we will revert you back. First of all it’s been a month and your back and team has still not able to change my mobile number?Then your service is so slow and your team is so pathetic and so unprofessional and secondly if you are not able to simply update the mobile number of your customer then you should stop selling your product and focus on improving the after sale as a Student ambassador I tell everyone that their service is very slow in terms of updating your mobile number the reason is whenever you will open your account they will ask for the mobile number which is linked to your Aadhar now when I am shifting to Germany for my masters I want to carry only one sim therefore I have updated that number everywhere but the niyo global team is not ready to update that number. After raising complaints so many times finally they agreed to change my number but it is more than a month and there is no progress.
Anyone who is reading this post from your team please reply to me about the following questions:-
- Firstly when I moving abroad all the OTP is will come in the existing number and if I decided not to take that number where I will receive the OTP. (I know you will say you will receive in the mail but I can tell you so many incident where I haven’t received your OTP in my email address)
- Secondly I have seen many people have reported the same issue over and over again why are you not taking the feedback and improving on this are you so slow or you don’t want to improve?
- Thirdly tell me when person take a forex card then there are so many chances that he or she wants to update her or his email address or phone number at some point of time so why don’t you make that process easy and convenient??
- Lastly give me resolution as soon as possible otherwise I will do two things firstly close my Niyo global account and switch to Thomas Cook and also as a part of Student ambassador I will aware everyone about your pathetic and slow service and literally no after sales and support.
