There is something called “Niyo Express” I am seeing on the front page (Now delivered in
24 hours!) . I am not able to tell if following the process will get me a SBM account or a DCB account (or I can choose?)

The reason I ask is, I had a DCB Current account with the old Niyo, that eventually got closed. I am not able to open a niyo-DCB now because of what the app says is “existing relationship with the bank”, and it asks me to go to the nearest DCB branch, which is quite far away.

So .. if I opt for Niyo Express …

  1. Will I get SBM account?
  2. Will I get DCB account and will they be able to open the account even with the current problem I have in the app?

Thanks for your time over the call. As discussed, you can apply for Niyo Express through goniyo.com. This will be Niyo DCB savings account, and you’re eligible for a home-visit biometric KYC. Once you apply, our team will coordinate with you to complete the process smoothly.
