Customer not active error *URGENT*

Hello,
I parked some money in my Niyo DCB account yesterday, but when I tried accessing the account today, I’m unable to log into it and am receiving an error reading “Customer not active”. I have tried reaching out to customer care number, but wasn’t able to get in touch with a customer care representative even after waiting for over 30 mins on phone. I have also raised ticket # 1300227 but haven’t received a resolution yet. Please assist me here.

As your account was inactive (no debit transactions) for a year, the bank has suspended your account. We need to have this checked with our concerned team and see how we can help you here.

Thanks for your response, why was the account suspended when I credited some money in it yesterday? Why was I not given a heads-up before suspension? Could you please put me in touch with concerned team right away? I need the money urgently.

@mehtarohand a prior email communication has been sent to all the users whose accounts were inactive for a year (where no debit transactions had taken place in a year). We’ve requested to make a debit transaction (PoS/Ecom/ATM) in the given timeline to avoid account suspension.

Thanks for the update. Yesterday’s transaction was my first credit with Niyo DCB. Ideally credit should not be allowed either then.
I have shared the required details with you. Could you please share an ETA for my account access?

@mehtarohand Thanks for sharing it. You made the credit transaction on 24-05-2022 at 09:42:32 AM and the account has been suspended on 24-05-2022 at 01:35:24 PM. Fund transfer tour Niyo DCB account could have failed if the transaction had happened after 01:35:24 PM. Do not worry, your funds will be safe. We are following up with our team and we’ll try to help you. The expected ETA is up to 2 days. We kindly request you to wait until then.

Whenever I am entering the details, the user is showing user not active

how will the account be active now

Your Niyo Global by DCB account has been suspended as you have requested us to do so in the past. If you would to reactivate it again, please write to us at global@goniyo.com from your registered email and share a scanned copy of your passport and our team will help you with the account reactivation.
