Creating account on Niyo SBM

Hi, My friend is trying to create account on Niyo SBM but he is getting this error shown in the image.

Hey @ArshGoyal ! It looks like your friend’s KYC record has not been updated in the CKYC directory. Unfortunately, we cannot proceed further with the onboarding for your friend. Kindly inform the same!


Is there any way he can update his record in the CKYC database so that he can join Niyo SBM program

Hey @ArshGoyal ! A CKYC record is updated only if you hold a Mutual Funds account or a Bank account. The chances are you might already have these, but the bank or your mutual funds account partner might have not updated your KYC record in the directory.
