I had taken a Niyo Global travel card for my trip to Sweden. When I checked the card in India, it worked fine in a petrol pump. I also could do some online transactions with my Niyo account. So, I believed that it will work properly and put a good amount of money in my Niyo account for my travel purposes. However, when I tried using the card in Sweden, to my shock, it didn’t work either on a POS terminal or in ATM. I reported the issue then and then. I was told that my account is blocked from the bank and Niyo is working on it. For last two days, I’m getting the same reply in my interaction in chat support. I have never seen such an unprofessional service from any travel/forex card providers. Niyo is telling me that it will take 2-3 days! How can anyone depend on such a card when it takes 2-3 days to resolve an issue, especially when you are abroad. I cannot even transfer the money from the Niyo account to my other saving bank account.
I strongly recommend that no one should take this card as their travel partner if they are going to depend on only a single card.

Now, I’ll be able to check it only after couple of days. Anyway your service did not work for me when I needed it most. I had to cancel some of my travel plans that I had done with Niyo cards. The refunds are suspended to come to my Niyo account. I hope that at least that will happen as the way it should happen.
