Total charges for ATM withdrawal in Thailand for Niyo debit cards (Equitas & DCB)

Apologies for what may look like a repetitive question, but no one seems to have answered this exact question

I will be in Thailand in the last week of January. What is the exact charge levied per withdrawal for Equitas & DCB cards?

If additional ATM fees are levied, where can this information be found?

International ATM Withdrawal Charges:

  • Credit card by SBM Bank: Now it’s INR 500 or 2.5% of the transaction amount*
  • Debit card by Equitas: Currently, it’s INR 499 (inclusive of INR 422.88 + 18% GST)

Domestic ATM Withdrawal Charges:

  • Credit card by SBM Bank: Now it’s INR 500 or 2.5% of the transaction amount*

It’s worth noting that some ATMs run by merchants might charge an extra fee for withdrawals. The exact amount varies from one merchant to another, and you’ll see it displayed during the withdrawal process. Unfortunately, we don’t have specifics on these additional fees as they’re set by the individual ATM operators.

How about fees for the DCB card? And is the fee for Rs. 500 all across the world?

DCB debit card: ₹300 + GST

The bank whose ATM you use, may charge a fee over this.

please be aware that some ATMs operated by merchants may charge you an additional fee for withdrawals. This fee varies from one merchant to another, and it will be displayed during the withdrawal process. Unfortunately, we do not have information about these additional fees as they are determined by the individual ATM operators.
