Onboarding issue with Niyo DCB passport file number verification


I am an Indian student studying in the U.S.A. I am trying to open the Niyo DCB account but am unable to proceed beyond the passport file number verification step. I have an unexpired Indian passport that was issued in India, yet it is saying that passport verification failed and is now showing the no more attempts left error code.

Could you look into the error and help me with opening the account?
