Niyo SBM Credit Card: Benefits, How to Use, and FAQs! 📋

Hi @Himanshu_Gupta4,

Welcome to the Niyo Community! :raised_hands:

I understand you’re having trouble enabling international transactions on your Niyo card despite completing the VKYC process and receiving confirmation from SBM Bank.

Please note that after completing the VKYC, the activation of international transactions on your debit card is processed in batches by SBM Bank. This means it may take some time for the international transaction feature to be enabled on your card.

Keep an eye on your email for updates from SBM Bank, as they will notify you once the international transactions are activated.

We appreciate your patience, and if you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please let us know!

I have a very important doubt if anyone can solve it will be helpful can any tell Did there is a tcs applied on Sbm credit card if i do transaction worth 25L in a financial year i will be liable of tcs or not second smooth international transactions are done through sbm credit card or not from india

Hello Niyo Support, @Preeti @Niyo @Nith_In @Zahid_Niyo

** Could you Please help with the all the options available for SBM credit card bill payment **

I have been using the SBM credit card secured with FDs since the last few months. Since last month i have been getting a message saying that the account is frozen and i need to complete the re KYC. Since i am not in India right now, it would not be possible for me to complete the re KYC asap.

My question is how do i repay the credit card bills if my savings account is frozen. I have tried few portals like amazonpay, cred but none seem to support the card as of now. I do not wish to foreclose all the FDs and completely stop using the card as it has been extremely useful in many countries

Can you please provide all the different options for SBM credit card bill payment available for users stuck in this scenario like me

Thank you

Hey @TV_niyouser :waving_hand: We tried reaching you over a call, but couldn’t get through. Just checking — were you able to pay your credit card bill using the link we shared? :credit_card: If you need any help, feel free to reach out anytime. We’re here for you!

@Preeti Sorry i was not available for call on the registered number. I am trying to provide the require details via mail as mentioned in your earlier post.

1 question - you mentioned that there is a reKYC form attached but i could not find any in the mail or the post ?
Am i expected to type all the details requested and send the proofs in a single pdf which will be considered as the reKYC form ?

Thank you

Hey @TV_niyouser, no worries at all! The re-KYC declaration form will be shared once you drop us an email :e_mail:. Just type out the requested details and send it over — we’ll guide you through the next steps from there :white_check_mark:.

Also, could you please confirm if the link worked for paying your credit card bill? :credit_card:

@Preeti Thank you for the info, i have just sent a mail with the required details and my ticket number is 145258

I am unable to use the payment link yet as my current bill has been fully payed by breaking the FDs. I intend to use this link the next time if my account still remains frozen. I will surely get back if i run into any problem with the link in future

Thank you

Sure, thank you for the confirmation and for sharing the ticket with us! No worries — we’ll make sure to follow up and keep you posted. :+1:

Is this Partial FD withdrawal for credit card bill payment is active or will the card get blocked?

Hi @SAIKIRAN176149,

We tried reaching you but couldn’t connect. Please note that you will be able to close your chosen FDs linked to the FD-backed credit card; however, the credit card itself will remain active for one year. You can open new FDs under the same card to receive a fresh credit limit. For any further queries regarding FD closure or your credit card, feel free to reach out via in-app chat or email us at (global@goniyo.com).
