I want to know niyo global physical debit card charges. Is it lifetime free or some charges?

I have some confusion here. Some users are saying that physical card has a AMC of ₹499+gst from 2nd year onwards. Is it true? I want a clear picture here. No hidden T&Cs please.
Hey @Kamal_Kumar! We have now waived the annual maintenance charges for Niyo Global by SBM. Now it’s free for a lifetime. 
I just received ₹499 deduction email due to annual fees. This is really bad and done without notifying!

I also got deduction message from bank. I had even kept the above 5000₹ quaterly balance for this to be waived off as per the pdf niyo had mailed earlier. Please check my account.

Thanks a lot for checking. But, why in the first place it was not auto dedected in your system. This shouldnt happen in a banking system. Should I keep a check on this every time and report this to get it resolved?
We completely understand your concern. As part of SBM Bank’s process, the AMC has been deducted and is being refunded to eligible customers. We will also share your feedback with SBM Bank to help them improve and update their process in the future.
