HIGH ATM withdrawal fee in Thailand. INR 500 per transaction 😱

Niyo Global ATM withdrawal fee is SUPER high. They charge ~INR 500 in Thailand. It’s not even close to what they advertise (ATM fee of INR 150/transaction)

I’ve pinged the customer support multiple times regarding this but they just ignore and randomly close ticket if raised. Ticket no. 1322584

Hey @rohan_amonkar ! Welcome to Niyo Community.

Niyo Global VISA Signature Debit card and the best part is it’s a 0 forex card. There are no hidden charges. Please NOTE : For International ATM withdrawal and balance enquiry, you’d be charged ₹100 + GST. This is in addition to the acquiring bank’s ATM fee. Niyo does not have a control on acquiring bank’s ATM. Hence we advise you to withdraw from an atm that does not charge a fee. - WB

Hi @Wasim_Al_Basha,
Where can I find which banks have acquiring charges in Thailand?

I guess that varies according to the norms laid out by Thailand’s central bank.

All banks I tried were changing Rs.500 as bank fee for withdrawal. I tried about 12-15 ATMs across Bangkok & Chaing Mai.
Do let me know which bank has zero withdrawal fee if you come across one.

Wish I could help you, but I’ve never been to Thailand.
If I find some info pertaining to the same will surely post it.

Is there any extra forex charge apart from 500 fees?
