THE VIEW FROM MY ROOM: A Story That Floated My Soul
Tired of work. Tired of noise. Tired of the routine.
I didn’t want another vacation; I needed an escape.
My weakness? Travel. Friends. Peace.
And guess what? My wild tribe, wearing “Hum Nahi Sudhrenge” t-shirts, kidnapped me for a 3-night cruise.
No network. No emails. Just the sea stretching till forever…
From my cabin window, all I saw was golden sun melting into the ocean, waves whispering secrets, and a silence so powerful, it healed something deep inside me.
It wasn’t just a view; it was a reminder.
I’m more than deadlines. I’m a soul that needs to float sometimes.
To spice it up? My friends knew exactly what a travel freak I am. They gifted me the one thing I forgot I needed; myself.

I woke up in my tent somewhere in the Australian Outback, Northern Territory a few years back & was met with the most beautiful sight ever. The early morning sun rays hitting the red earth hills & the calm water providing an amazing mirror image - couldn’t have asked for a better morning
Am I dreaming, or am I dreaming?
I couldn’t believe I’d wake up to this view—an infinity pool overlooking a tropical paradise in the Philippines.
But let me correct myself. It’s not just the view—it’s the feeling.
The soothing sound of the breeze, the gentle crash of waves along the shore, and even the soft rhythm of a pool sweeper at work—it all felt surreal.
During my recent trip to Dubai, I stayed at a property in Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT)—and the view from my window was nothing short of breathtaking!
Every morning, I was greeted by the serene Jumeirah Lake, surrounded by the striking skyline of modern high-rises. The calm waters reflected the towering structures, creating a mesmerizing cityscape.
One of the highlights visible from my window was the tennis court below—famously known as the spot where legends like MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh once played. Knowing that sporting icons had graced that very court added a special charm to the experience.
This view perfectly captured Dubai’s unique blend of urban sophistication and tranquil living.
