- Plan Travel Logistically: If your interview is in a different city (e.g., travelling from Bengaluru to Mumbai or Hyderabad), factor in travel arrangements for your infants or children as they must accompany you to the interview location.
2. SCHENGEN WINTER SLOTS: Early Application Drive Begins
European consulates across India have issued an early advisory as winter, Christmas, and New Year travel bookings spike earlier than usual.

Schengen Slot Scarcity: Popular winter destinations like Switzerland, Austria, France, and Finland are seeing high appointment demand. Consulates are enforcing strict verification of booked hotel itineraries and return tickets.

Digital Borders Preview: Consulates are also preparing for the rollout of the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) digital biometrics (facial scans and fingerprints) at arrival borders.

3. EXPANDED E-VISA CORRIDORS: 51+ Destinations Open Online
To make international travel easier without embassy queues, 51+ countries now offer fast-track e-Visas or Pre-Arrival Registrations for Indian passport holders.
