NBI Clearance delay before travel - what should I know earlier?

Hi everyone,

I am planning to travel abroad soon and while preparing my documents I found out that getting NBI Clearance can sometimes take longer than expected, especially if there is a hit status.

I was thinking everything can be completed quickly, but now I realized some documents need extra time and planning.

For those who already experienced this, what things should I know before applying for NBI Clearance?

How early should I process it before a visa application or international travel?

Would appreciate any advice from people who have gone through this process.

I think better not wait until last week before your travel. My friend got hit status and he need to come back again after few days, so his plan become little stressful. If your travel or visa schedule is already fixed, I suggest apply your NBI Clearance as early as possible. Even if many people get it same day, nobody knows if your application will have delay. Better finish this document first so you don’t need to rush later.
