- Train Tickets & Entrance Fees: Whether it was booking the Afrosiyab fast train in Uzbekistan or paying for UNESCO site entries, my Niyo card worked everywhere.
Tips for Niyo Users
- Carry some USD as backup, but rely on your Niyo card for cash withdrawals and payments to avoid high forex fees.
- Use apps like 2GIS (offline maps) and Yandex Go for transport. Link your Niyo card for easy payments.
- Buy local SIMs at airports using your Niyo card—Beeline in Uzbekistan and O! in Kyrgyzstan worked best for me.
