How to Make International Travel Hassle-Free with Niyo? Share Your Story! ✈️

:earth_africa: From a Tweet to a Lifesaver: My Niyo Experience! :sparkles:

It all started with research and a tweet. Back in 2023, while preparing for an upcoming trip, I applied for a Niyo SBM Debit Card. Just 15 days later, I found out that international transactions were paused for the SBM Debit card, and I needed a Niyo SBM Credit Card instead. The catch? I had only six days before my departure! :scream:

I turned to Twitter and shared my situation with Niyo twitter (now X) handle. To my surprise, I got a call from Niyo, and on the other end of the line was someone who truly went above and beyond! :telephone_receiver: I had a long list of questions ready, and he patiently answered them one by one. Not only that, but he also expedited the delivery of my credit card, it arrived just a day before my flight! Talk about top-notch support! :rocket: Can you guess who it was? It was none other than Zahid! our community manager! @Zahid_Niyo

Fast forward to my other trip, I had booked a long stay at an IHG resort—something I usually don’t do as I prefer switching resorts every few days. Everything was prepaid online, but upon check-in, I was told I needed to pay a fully refundable security deposit for two nights—134 OMR (~₹30,000). :astonished:

Before, I was using traditional cards, but later I switched to Niyo for both domestic and international transactions. The booking was prepaid, but when I checked in, I found out that I had to pay a fully refundable security deposit for two nights—around 134 OMR, which is roughly ₹30,000 INR. Being a Nadaan Parinda, I confidently presented all the cards I had, only to be told that they required a credit card. Luckily, I had my Niyo SBM Credit Card with me, and it saved my trip like always, plus it helped me avoid unnecessary charges. Once the payment was approved, I was silently thinking: JALWA hai HUMARA! :sunglasses:

Last year, I booked a flight through Niyo App for another trip and redeemed 17,100 Niyo Coins—earned through domestic transactions and referrals. The original price was ₹9,839, but with my coins, I snagged it for just ₹8,129, with zero convenience fees! :tada::moneybag:

From swift customer support to seamless transactions and rewards, my journey with Niyo has been nothing short of amazing! :rocket::blue_heart:
