Start using credit cards early in life since the upgrades usually depend on maintaining a credit healthy and long relationship with banks.

  1. A penny saved in penny earned. If you need something, wait for 15 days. If you still need it, buy it. Buy it because you NEED it, not because you WANT it.
  2. If there’s one thing you should ask your dad, let that be about money (not for money). Ask him how taxes, investments, credit scores work.
  3. Start maintaining an adversity fund. And let that be for adversities only.
  4. Neither be a borrower nor a lender be. Friends and Finances are two different things, Keep them separate.
  5. The safest way to double your money is fold it once and put it in your pocket. Stay away from unreasonably-high-returns investments. If something is too good to be true, then it most likely is.
