Hey @ALTAMASH_SHAIKH, welcome to the Niyo Community!
Thank you for reaching out about your Niyo SBM debit card and international transactions. I’m happy to help clarify the situation and provide some options for you.
First, great news - your Niyo SBM debit card will work for international transactions if you’ve completed your re-KYC through the Niyo app. If you haven’t done this yet, no worries! Here’s what you can do:
1. Complete your video KYC using this link: https://vkyc.sbmbank.co.in/SBMVkycHost/rekyccustomerenroll
2. After completion, international usage should be activated within 3-5 days.
To check if your KYC is already done :
1. Go to Card Control for your SBM debit card in the Niyo app
2. Try to unlock the international tab
3. If it works, you’re all set! If not, complete the video KYC using the link provided in the message, or chat with support for assistance.
Now, for your options. Niyo offers several ZERO FOREX cards:
1. DCB debit card
2. SBM debit card
3. SBM credit card (FD backed)
You can apply for these cards through the Niyo app!
For new customers, the SBM options might not be immediately visible. Here’s a tip: go to the Home page, then tap “Credit card” in the bottom navigation. This should show you both Niyo SBM debit and credit options.
If you’re planning to travel abroad, I would recommend getting both a debit card (great for ATM withdrawals) and a credit card for other purchases.
Is there anything else you’d like to know about these options or the re-KYC process? I’m here to help ensure you have the right card for your international transactions!
