Recap of Pune Travelers Meetup: Moments and Memories

This weekend was special to me.
Admin @Zahid_Niyo invited me over to host a meetup.
I considered this a privilege.

As registrations poured in, my heartbeat increased in anticipation of meeting travelers who were Niyo customers.
These are globe trotters who collectively carry years of experience exploring the world.

The meetup venue was Third Wave Coffee on the picturesque FC Road of Pune.
@Je_m_appelle_sourabh who hosted the last meetup in Pune was co-host.

I and Zahid were the first to reach the cafe before 11 am.
Soon attendees started to arrive and the cafe was abuzz with whispers and small talk.
Everyone greeted each other, got to know, and discussed their experiences with traveling.

Not everyone had traveled abroad before.
So we had a good mix of people with both international and domestic experience.
They complimented each other well.

After about 30 people arrived, we had a formal round of introductions.
The attendees shared:

  • Name and profession.
  • Countries traveled.
  • Countries on their wish list.
  • Upcoming scheduled travels.
  • Good and bad expereinces during their travel overseas.
  • Lessons learned from those experiences.

Finally, we had a QA session covering everything from budget travel tips to various Niyo services for international travelers.
Attendees asked their hearts out and sought information and clarifications as they sipped coffee.
Most importantly, they were all happy users of the Niyo international services :hugs:

Finally, Zahid shared a bunch of goodies that included a set of fabulous stickers, and a high-quality travel tag.

We had a group photo followed by an open networking session.

I, Zahid, and Sourabh moved over to a nearby Pizzeria to munch on some authentic Italian sourdough preparations.

The day concluded with Zahid presenting me and Sourabh with some cool Niyo swag.
It consisted of a smooth comfy round neck shirt, an appreciation card, an international power connector, a Niyo Coffee Mug, a poster, and a Niyo tote bag for future shopping using the Niyo Traveler card

The meetup was a huge success with travelers from all walks of life coming together spending quality time knowing each other’s travel experiences and knowing about Niyo’s international services in a cool ambiance of a top-class cafe in Pune.

The feedback shows people are loving it as much as I did.
And we look forward to Niyo for many such wonderful meetups in the coming months.
Konnichiwa!

Wow, what an incredible recap, @Tushar_Suradkar! Thank you so much for sharing this, and for being such a fantastic host. It was a pleasure working with you to make this meetup happen—it wouldn’t have been the same without your energy and passion for travel!

Reading this brings back all the amazing memories of the day—the introductions, the travel stories, and that buzzing atmosphere at Third Wave Coffee. It’s always so inspiring to see how travel can bring people together, whether they’re seasoned globetrotters or just starting their journey. :earth_africa::airplane:

I’m so glad everyone enjoyed the goodies and found value in the Q&A session. Moments like these are why we keep organizing meetups—connecting travelers, sharing experiences, and building this vibrant community. :blue_heart:

Looking forward to many more meetups and adventures together. Thank you again for being such an important part of this one! :raised_hands:
