How to get there: The Golden Temple is approximately 2 km from Amritsar Junction railway station and about 13 km from Amritsar airport. If you’re driving, there’s dedicated car parking, but be prepared for a wait—last time, it took me over an hour to enter due to the rush!

Lake Natron, the perfect breeding place for Flamingos.
We visited this stunning landscape on our trip to Tanzania in March, 2024. Lake Natron is a salt lake located in Ngorongoro crater and is popularly known to be the deadly red lake. The lake’s water is known to be poisonous for most bird species except for these stunning flamingos - happens to be their largest breeding ground in the world.
