However, at this moment, we are unable to provide a specific timeline for when this feature will be enabled. We are also dependent on certain external factors that are beyond our control.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. Rest assured, we are committed to providing you with the best possible service and will notify you as soon as international transactions are enabled on the Niyo SBM debit card.

Still blocked or it has started already. I recieved an email regarding changes in charges for international transactions.

Hi @aayushi_badkur ,

We are currently working with the SBM bank regarding the debit card usage, we will proactively notify the further updates.

Thanks

Now sbm bank card is also of no use
Increase of withdrawal charges is 500 from 118
It’s too much :rage::rage:

Can anyone tell that if I don’t do rekyc then will my sbm account will be closed automatically?

Hi @jvishw2 ,

This is for the savings account and the credit card. If you do not complete the rekyc within 30 days. Their savings account and credit card will be frozen.

Thanks

Do you even realise that for KYC you require the person to be in India whereas your card’s USP is international usage. Shouldn’t your business strategists have a think about this because I am not going back to India for a bank’s KYC. Do you have any other alternatives?

Hi @Vardaan_Sharma ,

May I know which account you are referring too?

Thanks

Are international transactions enabled now?

Hey @travellingTechie,

Yes, international transactions are now enabled on your Niyo SBM Debit Card with a spending limit of up to INR 5 lakh. You can also use the Niyo DCB Debit Card and Niyo Secured Credit Card to initiate international transactions.

Appreciate your understanding.

Thanks @Nith_In for the reply. I have a few more questions.

  1. Is this card still a zero forex markup card?
  2. What are the international ATM withdrawal charges with this card?
  3. Do I need to do a reKYC before using it again internationally?

Hi @travellingTechie,

Thanks for following up with your questions! I’d be happy to help.

  1. Zero Forex Markup: Yes, with any of the Niyo cards, you can enjoy zero forex markup on all your international transactions.

  2. International ATM Withdrawal Charges: You can refer to this link to check out the charges for Niyo products: Niyo Products Comparison.

  3. ReKYC Requirement: For any queries regarding reKYC, you can reach out to our 24/7 In-App Support team under the FAQ section. Alternatively, you can email us at global@goniyo.com from your registered email ID so that the concerned team can check and help you with the same.

Hope that helps!

Hi Nithin,

I am unable to enable international transactions for my niyo global debit card. No one from sbm team or niyo is helping me on this. Can you please let me know why one cannot enable international transactions?
Niyo team says sbm bank will do the needful but no update from them as well.

Yes you are right,my friend in India completed his video kyc around 7 days ago and everything is updated still international transactions are not allowed
Customer care is saying it’s sbm concern
They will send mail for enablement but they are not paying attention

Yes. Trusting niyo and sbm i m now in another country but cannot use the card which is why i took it in the first place.
Such a pathetic service from both niyo and sbm.

Hi @MANOHAR_CHEABROLU ,

Have you written an email to global@goniyo.com? If yes, please share the ticket reference number with me. I will connect with the team and update you accordingly.

Thanks

Brother can you help me, now I living in out of India, when I try to activate international transaction, asking VKYC, But I can’t connect from here,

Hi @Shabeeb_Koppam ,

If you are currently living outside of India, you will not be able to complete the VKYC process. According to RBI guidelines, the user must be physically present in India to complete the VKYC. We understand this can be inconvenient, but these regulations are in place for your security and compliance. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

Thanks
