2. UAE VISA & PASSPORT PROCESSING: Transition to New Processing Partner

- Update Your Portals: If you are booking appointments for UAE-based passport renewals, visa attestations, or Police Clearance Certificates (PCC), ensure you use the official new Al Hind intake channels rather than older BLS appointment portals.
3. SCHENGEN VISA SURGE: Early Booking Recommended for Autumn/Winter Trips
European consulates across India have reported record-high application volumes for late-summer and early-autumn travel.

Biometric Mandate: With the upcoming digital Entry/Exit System (EES) rollouts across Europe, consulates are enforcing strict verification of travel itineraries and accommodation proof.
What this means for Indian travellers:

Apply 60 - 90 Days Early: If you are targeting an Autumn holiday to Europe, submit your Schengen application as early as possible (Schengen rules allow applications up to 6 months before your intended departure date).

When booking international flight connections through third-party platforms, always double-check if your flight is a single-ticket connection or a self-transfer.
If a flight is labeled “Self-Transfer” (where you fly on two separate budget airlines), you will be required to exit the international transit zone, collect your baggage, and re-check in. If you don’t hold a transit visa for that layover country, airline staff at your departure airport in India will deny you boarding!
