How early can I apply for an Australian student visa before my program starts?
You can apply for an Australian student visa up to 6 months before your program starts, as long as you’ve got your Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from the university. The CoE is basically proof that you’ve been accepted into a course in Australia.
While you can apply early, it’s a good idea to submit your visa application at least three months before your course starts. That gives plenty of time for processing and avoids any last-minute stress.
Just make sure you have everything ready—your CoE, passport, proof of finances, health insurance (Overseas Student Health Cover), and any other required documents. The earlier you start, the smoother the process will be!
