This beach is one my personal favorite, located in a small village named Manapad. Long stretch of clean sandy beach (except Nov - Feb 1st week). Water is cleaner and you can see small fishes in every waves hitting the beach… Last time I went there, a pod of Sperm Whale (more than 40) had lost their way and reached here…
Best part is there are three different part of beach - one will have almost still water (good for kayaking),, one part small to medium waves (they teach surfing there) and towards end of beach large waves (professional surfing happens there). There is a beautiful homestay some 50-100 meters from the beach. If you want a beach to yourself, hit this place any time between Jan end to Nov..
