Thanks for the details! After downloading when I entered my Mobile Number. Further entered the received OTP. Email ID entered. OTP entered. PAN number entered. The site accepted as my Name was instantly displayed there. In the next screen it says Sorry! cannot open your account because not found in the CKYC database.
What’s the next step for me?
Hey @LiberBliss! We regret to inform you that as of now we won’t be able to proceed with your onboarding as your CKYC data is not updated OR does not match our requirements.
A CKYC record is updated only if you hold a Mutual Funds account or a Bank account. The chances are you might already have these, but the bank or your mutual funds’ account partner might have not updated your KYC record in the directory.
While I write this we are working on an alternative for the same and you will be amongst the first ones to be informed of an update.
In the meanwhile, you can try another product of ours i.e NiyoX which can be used for your international transactions with 0 forex mark-up charges.
Thanks Deepak for your great assurance!
As suggested I tried with NiyoX. Everything smooth sailed till I came to the final OTP which was sent to my Aadhar linked mobile number. Unfortunately that old number is no longer in use and I am advised to edit the mobile number in Aadhar records. To change the mobile number I need to visit the Aadhar Kendra. Presently I am bound at my place with hip dislocation! So it seems I need to wait at least for 2 months or so. Everything cannot be done online, it seems!
Hey @LiberBliss! We are sorry to hear about your health. We wish you a speedy recovery.
Yes, to open an account with us, you need to have your registered mobile number linked to your Aadhaar. And to do that, you have to visit any nearest Aadhaar help center. Therefore, we’d request you try onboarding once you update your mobile number.
Hey @Pankhu0610! To get Niyo Global by SBM card, it is required to have a passport. In case, if you do not have one, we are sorry to let you know that we cannot onboard you for Niyo Global by SBM. Alternatively, you may try NiyoX

Hey @Deepak I want to get onboard to Niyo Global Card very urgently. I am International Student and want to get the Debit Card before the 6th of February as I am travelling to Australia on the 9th. I tried to download the Beta version but it shows that the beta is full. Could I be onboard the Niyo Card and get it delivered to Kolkata by 6th Feb or will I have to look at other solutions? Please get back as fast as possible. Thank You.

Is it mandatory to create a wealth account? Since I’m a student, I would be using the card for international transactions. My onboarding process has been a bit confusing. I was asked to give my bank account number & IFSC code, then a ₹1 transaction took place and now I’m at the step of e-signing an e-kyc on digio. Did I go wrong anywhere, could that be checked?
