Are there any future plans to waive of the debit card fee for Niyo Global SBM card?

I have read that the Niyo Global SBM card fee could be waived out in the future if a minimum spends criteria has been met? How far is this true?

You need INR 5000 in your account to order the card and once you have it, you’re free to withdraw that amount.

PS- I stand corrected and didn’t know about the 499 + GST fee.

He means the 499+Gst (Card Fees) Per Year not the 5000, which we have to deposit in order to order the Debit card .
